Before diving into the world of design, I began as a fine artist. My grandma is my inspiration, as she’s an incredible artist and took it upon herself to teach all her grandchildren how to paint, sew, and do all things crafty. I began my career on canvas, and from there found my passion for murals.

I completed my first official mural project for a home in Michigan when I was 16, and since then have experimented in many forms of painting, sculpting, and anything I can craft. I believe my fine arts skills aid my technique as a designer in understanding the effect that colors, textures, shape, etc. has on a space, and to have knowledge the technical process behind creating an effective design.
